My Secret for Finding LOVE

  1. Know thy self and love they self; must be able to be alone with yourself.
  2. To thine own self be true.
  3. Believe in and fight for Love. Never give up on Love.
  4. Constantly put out to the Universe your desire to know, feel, be in Love.
  5. Never settle.
  6. Dream it, be it, get lost in it.
  7. Realize the importance of the little things.
  8. The quest for Love is a hard battle, but know when to take your armor off; be vulnerable.
  9. Recognize when you've lost a fight, bow out graciously and acknowledge the victor.
  10. Love Love even when she doesn't seem to love you, continue your belief in her and she will eventually reward you.

You are my heart
and we've been too long separated.

I want nothing more then to be reunited and feel you pulse through me.

For the more space which passes between me and my love leaves me weak, hollow, depleted.

Wish nothing more then to jet off to receive a much needed infusion of loves vital fluid but--
but, but, but--
the affliction of responsibility to my worldly debts has me bound to my sick bed.

There is a surgery date;
till then, here I lie in eager anticipation for the healing to begin.

my poor diligent darling
steadily lining all those duckies in a row
whilst here am I, planning
scheming

it's all worked out my dove,
why the delay?
no need for EVERY light to be green
we've all the major ingredients, come join me in the kitchen
(you know I know my way around)

it's our recipe
so what if it doesn't read the same as others

The taste's the thing how in I'll catch my conscience king

Every dollar I make I already owe.

I miss poetry in my life.
Desperately.

Hungry for art, starving for financial ease.

All I know to do is keep on working, I have good work, honest work, but it's just not enough--for either aspect.

Have a love I can not feel and a paycheck which disappears in moments and no time to enjoy life with.

Is this all that can be expected of adult hood?

America, where you're free to live in debit; month to month a way from homelessness yet you're still better off then the rest.

Amen.

All I have is this
now, me
it's all I can expect to have

Projecting changes nothing
only exasperates the frustration

no one wins then

Back of the line, end of the alphabet, last to cross

she was right, it's best to get them when they are young

"I learned the truth at seventeen..."
